This policy explains how Cleveland Underground collects, uses, and shares information when you browse cleunderground.com, use the cart, or place an order through Shopify-hosted checkout.
Information we collect
When you place an order, Shopify may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, and payment-related information. Payment card data is processed by Shopify and its payment providers; Cleveland Underground does not store full card numbers.
Our storefront receives technical information needed to operate securely, including IP address, browser and device information, request details, and the Shopify cart identifier stored in an HTTP-only cookie. The cart cookie normally expires after 14 days. Cloudflare and our hosting provider may process network and security logs.
How we use information
- Provide the storefront, cart, checkout, order, shipping, refund, and support services.
- Confirm transactions and communicate about an order or support request.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical failures.
- Meet tax, accounting, legal, and recordkeeping obligations.
Service providers and sharing
We share information only as needed with vendors that operate the store, including Shopify, payment processors available through Shopify checkout, shipping carriers, Cloudflare, and our infrastructure provider. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect customers, the store, or the public. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Order and transaction records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide service and meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve the request and maintain necessary records. We use HTTPS and limit access to store systems, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and transaction-record requirements. You can remove the cart cookie through your browser settings. This storefront does not currently use advertising pixels or behavioral advertising cookies.
Children
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
